Cohiniac, Côtes-d'Armor, Bretagne

The Beaumanoir estate straddles the communes of Cohiniac and Le Leslay in the Côtes-d'Armor, built around a manor house dating back to the 15th century. Once seat of one of the most important lordships attached to Quintin, it went through several phases of expansion before a late 19th-century restoration gave it its present appearance, with a new wing designed by the Saint-Brieuc architect Auguste Courcoux and grounds laid out in a neo-Gothic style by landscape designer Charles Singlis. The property has been used as a filming location, notably for Roman Polanski's Tess.
