Despite its name, the Wolfsberger Schloss is not a castle but a substantial burgher's house standing at Marktplatz 10 in Gräfenberg, in the Landkreis Forchheim, Bavaria. The present three-storey, gable-fronted building was rebuilt after the town fire of 1567, on the site of an earlier house erected a decade before for a Nuremberg official. Its facade carries a painted mural, created in 1927 and renewed in 1985, depicting a scene from the Arthurian romance Wigalois, attributed to the medieval poet Wirnt von Grafenberg. Local tradition claims it as the poet's birthplace, a link that the building's actual age makes impossible.
