# Turmhügel Katzbach

Waldmünchen, Landkreis Cham, Bayern

Turmhügel Katzbach stands in Waldmünchen (Landkreis Cham), in Bavaria, Germany. Recorded dating: 11th century. No visits are on record for this building.

The Turmhügel Katzbach marks the site of a former medieval hilltop castle rising eleven metres above the Katzbach stream, at the western edge of the Katzbach district of Waldmünchen. Nothing stands above ground today: it is a vanished castle site, recognisable from its trapezoidal platform and the remains of a transverse ditch that was filled in around the early twentieth century. A stone keep once stood on a rocky spur at the southern tip of the enclosure. This is a destination for those drawn to archaeological remains rather than dramatic ruins.

**No visits on record.** No opening hours or ticketing found.
