Schloss Körtlinghausen stands in the Glenne valley between Rüthen and Warstein, in North Rhine-Westphalia. Built from 1714 onward to designs by the Hildesheim architect Justus von Wehmer for Baron Franz Otto von und zu Weichs, this baroque complex replaced an older moated castle first recorded in 1398. The courtyard, the cavalier buildings and the fountain now form a site used mainly as an event venue, with tours of the building available for groups by appointment only.
