Built between 1710 and 1730 for Margravine Sibylla Augusta of Baden-Baden, widow of the famed Türkenlouis, this baroque pleasure palace retains much of its original interior decoration. Highlights include the Florentiner Kabinett, its walls covered with panels of inlaid marble and semi-precious stones, along with an extensive collection of Chinese porcelain and black lacquerwork, making this the oldest surviving German porcelain palace in its original form.
