The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.

Schloss Crottorf is a moated castle built on the foundations of a medieval stronghold first recorded in the 14th century, standing in the valley of the Wisser river. Over the centuries, the lords of Selbach and later the House of Hatzfeld turned a modest fortified house into a substantial two-winged residence crowned with round corner towers, reworked in a baroque spirit. Highlights include a former hunting room, now used as a vestibule, decorated with Italian stuccowork, and a grand festival hall with a Régence-style stucco ceiling. The complex is made up of a main high castle and a forecourt to the southwest.
