The Prinzenhaus was a rococo town palace built in Gotha, in the Landkreis Gotha, Thuringia, between 1773 and 1777 on the initiative of Prince August of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg. It stood between the Salzengasse and the Hützelsgasse and counted among its residents Baron Friedrich Melchior Grimm, whom Goethe is recorded to have visited there. The building was torn down in 1981 during a large-scale demolition of the old western quarter of the town, and nothing remains of it on the site today.
