Château Saint-Simon, also known as château de Candie, stands on a site in the Saint-Simon district of Toulouse dating back to the 13th century. It is the oldest surviving castle building within the city of Toulouse, originally built for the powerful Ysalguier merchant family. The medieval masonry, altered in the 17th century, has kept an unusually well-preserved archaeological state, with original plasterwork and joints still visible. Owned by the city of Toulouse since 1976, the estate remains primarily a working farm and vineyard.
