# Château du Petit-Geroldseck

Haegen, Bas-Rhin, Grand Est

Château du Petit-Geroldseck stands in Haegen (Bas-Rhin), in the Grand Est region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 13th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

On a wooded height above Haegen, in the Bas-Rhin, the ruins of Petit-Geroldseck crown a rocky outcrop whose history is tied to the neighbouring Grand-Geroldseck. The site is reached by a marked path starting from the forest road at the Hexentisch locality. The bailey, the keep and remains of the seigneurial lodging can still be made out, though the real draw is the view opening eastward over the Alsace plain.

**Practical details not verified yet.** We know this château and where it is, but we have not yet checked its opening hours or prices at the source. We would rather tell you than display something we are unsure of.
