# Château du Fournet

Saint-Judoce, Côtes-d'Armor, Bretagne

Château du Fournet stands in Saint-Judoce (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The château du Fournet stands in Saint-Judoce at the end of a long avenue, following the classic layout of Breton noble residences: an outer courtyard, an inner court and notable wrought-iron gates. The chapel is of particular interest, with two contrasting façades — one still bearing its 17th-century appearance, the other rebuilt in neo-Gothic style before being converted into an orangery in the 19th century. The main building and the armorial gates date from the 18th century, commissioned by Pierre-Hyacinthe du Fournet and his wife Marie-Madeleine de Farcy.
