Château du Faÿ stands on the heights of the Hautil massif, in Andrésy, overlooking the Oise valley from a wooded park planted with century-old trees. Its history stretches back to the Middle Ages, though the building seen today results from a 19th century reconstruction led by Count Sainte-Marie, who also had the park redesigned by the Bühler brothers. Notable features include a horseshoe-shaped outdoor staircase, a rooftop belvedere, and a stone dovecote and pond still standing in the outbuildings' courtyard. The park also retains a small lake with an artificial rock and rare trees such as a sequoia and an araucaria.
