The Château des Lanzy stands in the hamlet of Schieresthal, in the commune of Meisenthal, in the Moselle department. Built in the mid 19th century in troubadour style for the Lorin family, then shareholders in the Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche crystal works, it has kept its park and its chapel dedicated to Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs. A corner tower, added in 1906 after Jules Amiet acquired the estate, still shapes its outline today.
