# Château de Vouzeron

Vouzeron, Cher, Centre-Val de Loire

Château de Vouzeron stands in Vouzeron (Cher), in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 19th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The new château of Vouzeron stands in the Sologne region, in the Cher department, next to an older mid-19th-century château and an ancient castle mound. Built between 1887 and 1893 for Baron Eugène Roger by architect Hippolyte Destailleur, it combines neo-Gothic and Renaissance references across a substantial 2,000 m² footprint. The wider estate, with its kennels, stables, walled kitchen garden and park, offers a rare glimpse into how a great Sologne hunting estate operated during the Belle Époque.

**Practical details not verified yet.** We know this château and where it is, but we have not yet checked its opening hours or prices at the source. We would rather tell you than display something we are unsure of.
