The château de Vins overlooks the village of Vins-sur-Caramy in the Var, on a site occupied since the 11th century before the present building was erected at the end of the 15th century. Reworked during the Renaissance and again in the 18th century, it reflects the shift from medieval stronghold to Renaissance-style residence, centred on a courtyard lined with a double-arched gallery topped by an Italian-style loggia. Visitors can also see a fountain decorated with a mascaron, a former hunting hall converted into a drawing room, and a chapel set within a corner tower.
