The Château de Villechenay stands in Millançay, in the Loir-et-Cher department, at the center of a farming estate covering more than 200 hectares. Partly built in the 16th century with stone salvaged from the dismantled fortress of Millançay, torn down on the order of Henri III, it was extended in the 19th century in a neo-Gothic style alongside the original Renaissance wing. Its slate-roofed tower and its façades combining tuffeau stone and Chantignolles brick reflect these two building periods.
