Château de Ventadour stands in Meyras (Ardèche), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Perched on a rocky spur above the meeting point of the Ardèche and Fontaulière rivers, near Meyras, the ruins of the Château de Ventadour belong to a stronghold first built in the 11th century under the name château de Meyras. Altered during the Hundred Years' War and again in the 16th century, it played a part in the Wars of Religion before being abandoned and dismantled around 1700. Since 1969 a local association has worked toward its restoration, and the site still shows traces of a wide surrounding wall, old access paths and a former bridge that once linked the fortress to the valley below.
