Datant du début du 17e siècle cette ancienne abbaye laïque, remaniée, au 19e siècle est édifiée contre l'église, et comporte deux corps de logis cantonnés de pavillons, un ancien jardin clos de murs, diverses dépendances ainsi qu'un parc boisé. Le château et le parc, édifiés sur une butte, occupent vraisemblablement l'emplacement d'un ancien castera surveillant la vallée d'Ossau.
