The château de Saint-Agil stands in the commune of Couëtron-au-Perche, surrounded by moats some fifteen metres wide that trace its square layout. The most striking feature is the entrance gatehouse from the early 16th century, a brick and stone pavilion flanked by two towers topped with machicolations, its dormer window carved and crowned by a small lantern turret. The main residential building, older at its core, was substantially altered during the 18th century.
