Sévérac d'Aveyron, Aveyron, Occitanie

The château de Recoules stands in Sévérac-d'Aveyron, on the banks of the Olip, on a site first held in the Middle Ages by the Prévinquières family and later for centuries by the Garceval family. Its present layout, with four wings flanked by towers around a courtyard, owes much to Baron de Gaujal, who reshaped the buildings after buying the estate in 1853. A 17th-century gateway topped with a broken pediment marks the entrance. The building remains a private residence and is not open to visitors.

**No visits on record.** No opening hours or ticketing found.
