# Château de Noyen

Noyen-sur-Seine, Seine-et-Marne, Île-de-France

Château de Noyen stands in Noyen-sur-Seine (Seine-et-Marne), in the Île-de-France region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: third quarter of the 16th century, 17th century, 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

At Noyen-sur-Seine, this château brings together two distinct periods: the outbuildings raised in the 16th century to house King Henri II's horses, and the main residence itself, rebuilt in the third quarter of the 16th century at the request of the Comtesse de Montchal on the site of the earlier building. The whole is arranged around a courtyard bordered by moats, within a park stretching toward the Seine. Visitors can spot two bossage-carved columns, salvaged remnants of the former entrance gate lost during the rebuilding.

**Practical details not verified yet.** We know this château and where it is, but we have not yet checked its opening hours or prices at the source. We would rather tell you than display something we are unsure of.
