# Château de Nedde

Nedde, Haute-Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Château de Nedde stands in Nedde (Haute-Vienne), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: limite 16th century 17th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

In Nedde, in the Haute-Vienne department, this château built at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries stands on the site of a vanished medieval fortress. Three wings arranged around a courtyard reveal a keep converted into a staircase tower under Henri IV, flanked by two pavilions, one of which still bears the base of a turret. The south facade, decorated with paired columns and a round-arched doorway, reflects the richness of a sculpted decor that survived damage during the Revolution and later a long period of neglect in the 20th century.

**No visits on record.** No opening hours or ticketing found.
