# Château de Meursault

Meursault, Côte-d'Or, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

Château de Meursault stands in Meursault (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château de Meursault stands above a wine estate of nearly 65 hectares in the heart of the Côte-de-Beaune, between Pommard, Volnay and Puligny-Montrachet. Its origins go back to the 11th century, though the buildings seen today owe much to renovations carried out by the Serre family in the early 19th century. Beneath the château and its outbuildings lie vaulted cellars dating from the 12th, 14th and 16th centuries, capable of holding hundreds of thousands of bottles. The visit continues in a tasting room, the part of the estate that is actually open to the public.
