The wings added in the 14th and 16th centuries, then reworked in 1624, feature a staircase, mullioned windows and beams painted with rosettes and fleurs-de-lis. Surrounded by dry moats, the building has passed through several uses, from a lord's residence to a school and later a holiday camp.
