# Château de Lostange

Navès, Tarn, Occitanie

Château de Lostange stands in Navès (Tarn), in the Occitanie region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

In Navès, in the Tarn department, the Lostange château stands beside the Thoré river, built in 1586 by the Lostanges-Béduer family. Substantially altered from 1780 onwards, it now shows a rear façade with a triangular pediment and carved coats of arms, facing a seven-hectare park. Inside, vaulted rooms remain along with a flamboyant Gothic doorway carved from local sandstone, decorated with curled cabbage-leaf motifs, an angel and lions bearing a shield. The building currently houses a medical-educational institute, which strongly limits public access.
