# Château de Longas

No visits are on record for this building.

The Château de Longas stands northeast of Sainte-Foy-de-Longas, in the Dordogne, partly in ruins, reflecting the building's successive alterations over time. Constructed in the 15th and 16th centuries by the Larmandie family on a noble site first recorded in the 12th century, it retains an eastern residential wing and a stair tower still standing, while the western section has collapsed. Visitors come for the defensive and seigneurial architecture typical of the Bergerac region, rather than for an organized tour.
