The building's origins remain uncertain, somewhere between the 15th and 18th centuries, though the mullioned windows and the Louis XV style doorway point to major alterations made in the 18th century. Built of schist with lauze roofs, the structure was further modified in the 19th century, when square corbels were added beneath the roofline.
