> Ancien fief relevant du château de Chinon. A la Révolution, il est vendu comme bien national. Certaines parties du château médiéval remontent aux 12e et 13e siècles (charpente, peintures murales) , et au 15e siècle. La distribution intérieure est authentiquement gothique, notamment pour la grande salle du premier étage. Les deux pignons du comble sont décorés de peintures (13e siècle) , représentant des cavaliers s'affrontant en tournoi. La fontaine et les portes sont du 17e siècle. L'aile du 19e siècle comporte quelques éléments gothiques. Certaines pièces ont été restaurées en 1937 par l'architecte Louis Sue.
