Its outline recalls Palladian villas, with a compact main block flanked on the east side by a portico with Ionic columns and a grand staircase, and on the west by a projecting oval salon. The restrained decoration, arranged across a base, a noble floor and an attic level, contrasts with the boldness of the overall volumes.
