> L’actuel édifice, construit sur le site ancien d’un château fort, fut construit en deux campagnes. Un premier bâtiment, de style néo-17ème siècle, fut d’abord élevé, auquel vînt s’ajouter une construction, sur l’arrière, entre 1876 et 1880. De plan en H, le château se compose d’un corps central rectangulaire encadré de deux ailes formant quatre pavillons en saillie sur les façades principales. A l’intérieur, trois pièces retiennent l’attention : un salon entièrement lambrissé (aile sud), un vaste et spectaculaire hall de réception surmonté d’une galerie carrée ornée de peintures murales et, à l’étage, une grande chambre aux murs et plafond intégralement capitonnés de soie.
