# Château de la Dragonnière

Yenne, Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Château de la Dragonnière stands in Yenne (Savoie), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

At Yenne, in the hamlet that bears its name, the Dragonnière can be seen from outside, on a site occupied since the early fourteenth century by a fortified house. The present main building, flanked by a round tower and a pepper-pot turret, results from an early twentieth-century rebuilding in Renaissance style, carried out by its then owner, Mr Le Mire. A mullioned window bearing coats of arms, dating from the fifteenth century, survives on the east facade as a trace of the older structure. A second, more distant tower dates partly from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
