The Château de la Borde stands at the hamlet of la Borde, in the commune of Val-Fouzon in the Indre department, at the end of a long driveway off the road to Chabris. Built in the nineteenth century in a neo-Renaissance style, it features a central block flanked by four towers and a façade decorated with corner turrets, pilasters and dormer windows. A private property, it has passed through many hands and long spells of neglect before being taken over recently by new owners who are documenting its restoration.
