The Château de Kernevez stands in Plouray, in the Morbihan department, at the hamlet bearing its name. The present manor house and its outbuildings date from the 18th century and replaced an earlier château, now lost, which had itself succeeded a 16th century manor linked to the Bahezre family. Built of granite rubble with a bayed elevation and a hipped roof, the building served for a long time as a private residence, including for a relative of Madame Franchet d'Espèrey until 1968.
