In Quéven, in the Morbihan department, the château de Kerlébot stands on the site of a manor recorded as early as the 15th century and attributed to the Le Plain family. The present building, erected as a single storey in the first half of the 19th century and later raised by an additional floor at the end of that century, still keeps an outbuilding in granite rubble stone fitted with a dovecote, a remnant of the earlier manor. A turning staircase, rebuilt at the time of the later addition, can still be seen inside.
