Built for Pierre de Day, a councillor at the Parliament of Navarre, the building has kept its symmetrical layout with a central pavilion, later completed in the 19th century by two turrets added to the south front. Around the main building, the estate retains a French-style garden, an orangery and a medieval kitchen garden, remnants of a coherent ensemble despite decades of neglect.
