> Type du château défensif du 14e siècle, élevé sur plan carré et flanqué de quatre tours à machicoulis, reliées entre elles par des courtines crênelées. Primitivement, le château était hors de l'enceinte de la ville et entouré d'eau. Il est inhabitable depuis le 16e siècle. Sur le mur est, traces de cheminée et de deux baies ogivales. Utilisé comme prison jusqu'au début du 20e siècle.
