Château de Fitou stands in Fitou (Aude), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 12th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Standing above the village of Fitou, this medieval castle overlooks both the Leucate lagoons and the sea. Its ruins, dating from the Middle Ages, bear witness to a long military history marked by repeated sieges and fires. Visitors can still make out the arrow-slit walls of a former vaulted hall and a round tower at the north-west corner. The site has been closed to visitors since 2015, though it remains visible from the surrounding area.
