Rebuilt around 1726 by architect Nicolas-Antoine Perrard, it reached its peak when Madame de Pompadour acquired it in 1746 and hosted Louis XV there on numerous occasions. The estate later passed to the Duke of Penthièvre and then to the Montmorency-Logny family, before its disappearance.
