Torn down on the order of Marshal de Biron at the end of the 16th century, only parts of the keep and its walls remained standing until a Lyon banker had it restored at the end of the 19th century. Visitors today can see a keep containing several state rooms, including an ancestors' hall and a room known as the King's Chamber.
