> Un château féodal a été bâti vers le 9e siècle, puis du 11e au 14e siècle. De forme trapézoïdale, le château primitif (11e-12e siècle) était constitué par un donjon édifié sur le point le plus élevé, une salle et un mur d'enceinte. Au 15e siècle, le château fut ceinturé par une enceinte et huit tours. Une porte située à l'est conduisait à la chapelle, située à l'extérieur du château. De cette chapelle du 12e siècle subsiste un pan de mur.
