# Château de Bouillé

No visits are on record for this building.

The castle of Bouillé lies in ruins in the commune of Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie, in the Mayenne department, about one kilometre north of the village. Of the extensive buildings raised between 1490 and 1510 by the Bouillé family, only a large tower with vaulted cellars, a half buried chapel and a Renaissance style tower known as the treasure tower remain standing. Visitors come here for scattered remnants rather than an intact building, remains of what was once one of the largest residences in the Maine region.
