The site combines the remains of the fortress, including part of the surrounding wall, the great delphinal chapel and the keep, with the neighbouring former Carmelite convent, now home to a museum dedicated to the history of the Dauphins. A conservation garden inspired by medieval design, laid out in 2009, adds an aromatic herb plot, a vegetable garden of old varieties and an orchard to the visit.
