Destroyed on the orders of Louis XIII in 1616 and later rebuilt, the present building shows the Louis XIII style through red brick quoins and pilasters set against pale stonework. Notable outbuildings survive, including a pisé-walled sheepfold, a timber-framed dovecote roofed with fish-scale tiles, and a lookout turret with bull's-eye windows recalling English manor houses.
