The present building, erected in the 18th century in a U-shaped plan, replaced an earlier structure recorded as early as 1520 and surrounded by moats. Its neoclassical façade is symmetrical, rising over two storeys with nine windows. The site was once tied to the holdings of the Molesme abbey, whose monks had a strained relationship with the local lords.
