Ecot-la-Combe castle stands in the heart of the village, on the banks of the Sueurre river, in the Haute-Marne department. Built in the 15th century on the remains of an older stronghold, it underwent major changes at the very end of the 18th century, earning it a reputation as a building of many transformations. Visitors can see its three wings with towers, the gatehouse and outbuildings, and a dovecote, all bearing the mark of the noble families who lived there from the 14th to the 19th century.
