Built mainly in the second half of the 16th century on the site of an older castle mound surrounded by moats, it features two wings set at a right angle, with carved façades, corner turrets and tall dormer windows. Held for centuries by a single family, it still contains a spiral staircase, stone and wood fireplaces, and an old timber roof frame.
