Medieval defences remain visible, including the surrounding wall with its towers, postern gates and curtain walls, along with a 15th-century entrance system combining a covered drawbridge and a bent vaulted passage fitted with a portcullis. A Renaissance dwelling, a former chapel and the 16th-century building known as the logis de Marie Fouquet complete the ensemble.
