> Le château d'Amblans a été construit vers 1720-1725 par Jean-Charles-Alexis Breton d'Amblans, personnage d'une famille de robe implantée à Luxeuil depuis plusieurs générations et qui a été gouverneur, maire et bailli de la ville. L'édifice a été vendu en 1769 à Claude-Joseph Lyautey dit de Genevreuille puis après la Révolution aux Damedor de Mollans. La construction du chemin de fer en 1855 est venue amputer une partie du parc qui entourait le château à l'origine.
