> Le fief de Sully est mentionné dès le 11ème siècle. Après en avoir été dépossédée, la famille de Sully se vit restituer son domaine qui fut, par la suite, transmis en héritage et partagé en deux fiefs: celui du Haut-Sully et celui du Bas-Sully. Le porche fut élevé, en 1585, dans un style évoquant la seconde Renaissance française. Adossé à des bâtiments déjà existants, il est orné d'un cartouche identique à celui du colombier et de la chapelle.
